I'm currently running for Congress because I believe I can make a difference for Alaskans, and the great country we're a part of.
A little about myself: I
have a best friend & wife named Janet. We have a blended family
consisting of seven children, and a baker’s dozen of wonderful
grandchildren. I like to read books on numerous subjects but most
recently on the topics of entrepreneurship, and body language. I came to
Alaska in January of 1991 and knew immediately that this was home. My
educational background consists of a B.S. in Occupational Education with
an emphasis in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University.
Additionally, I have a M.S. in Business Organizational Management with a
concentration in Information Technology from the University of La Verne.
I’m
presently working for the University of Alaska, Fairbanks as a business
instructor, and volunteering as a SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) counselor. I’m a retired
Senior NCO, United States Air Force with 22 years of service to my
country.

What is the Libertarian Message?
As Alaskan Libertarians, We believe that individuals have the right to life, liberty, and property.
We believe that respect for human rights is the essential precondition
for a free and prosperous world, that force and fraud must be banished
from human relationships, and that only through true freedom can peace
and prosperity be realized.
We defend each individual’s right to
engage in any activity that is peaceful and honest, and welcome the
diversity that freedom brings. The world we seek to build is one where
individuals are free to follow their own dreams in their own ways,
without interference from government or any authoritarian power.
Statement of Principles:
The Party challenges the omnipotent state and defends the rights of the individual.
We hold that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion
over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they
choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal rights
of others to live in whatever manner they choose.
1.0 Personal Liberty
Individuals should be free to make choices for themselves and to accept
responsibility for consequences for the choices they make. No
individual, group, or government may initiate force against any other
individual, group or government. Our support of any individual’s right
to make choices in life does not mean that we necessarily approve or
disapprove of those choices.
